Junior Wessex

Despite the fact it wasI a very early start on Saturday morning all of the athletes were in good spirits particularly when they heard we would be driving through the New Forest on our way to Lymington. It meant they could count the number of ponies they were able to spot! Ellie threw a very respecttable 22metres with the rounders ball and Elinor ran like the wind to help Bea, Octavia and Ellie qualify for the final of the relays. They were placed 4th in the final, missing 3rd place by a whisker. Octavia was steady and consistent in the high jump and secured 3rd place. Bea won her heat in the 55m hurdles and went on to come 2nd in the final. It has to be said 24 schools participated. these were super results and the day was rounded off with an ice cream
