Walking the Clarendon Way for charity

On 5 June, a number of girls in LVI (Y7) - and a number of their parents - donned walking boots, t-shirts, hats and suncream and walked the 12 miles from Broughton to Salisbury Cathedral via the Clarendon Way. Mr J droned on about Roman Roads and the importance of eating and drinking, a number of the girls asked how far we had got after barely fifteen minutes of walking and yet they all stormed over the finishing line in under four hours. Not only was it an impressive physical feat, but also the girls managed to raise over £2,700 for Naomi's House and Jack's Place - two very worthy charities.
