Vth Form Play, Troy.

The Spring Term came to a dramatic end when the Vth Form performed Troy - The Musical to a packed Hall.

The play (written specially for the girls) told the complete story of the Trojan War, including the wedding of Peleus and Thetis, the Judgement of Paris, the deaths of Iphigenia, Patroclus, Hector and Achilles (and all the Trojans, come to that) the happy reunion of Penelope and Odysseus, the more questionable reunion of Menelaus and Helen and the slightly fatal reunion of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra. There were gods and heroes and even our very own wooden horse (which was much bigger than it looked). There was music from Rossini and songs inspired by Gilbert and Sullivan. The performance ended with a five minute silent version.

Needless to say, the girls were brilliant. A hearty congratulations to all of them for making it such a success. Well done.
