World Book Day

As part of World Book Day, the whole school took part in their first ever book swap at lunch today. It was such a success that the girls asked if it could happen on a regular basis. The next swap is now being planned for Tuesday, 22nd March, just in time for packing away a good read for the holidays.

The girls have also been taking part in a book quiz with the entry fee of £1 per child going towards buying books to send to libraries in Africa.

It doesn’t end there though because next week the Juniors will be portraying a character from a favourite book, with the aid of just a couple of props, and their friends will have to guess who they are. Even Mrs Rough, their teacher, is taking part. Everyone is wondering who she will be…
