Yesterday saw some of our bravest musicians take part in the Senior Satips Day at Bryanston School. Despite a year group missing because of the French trip, Hanford was able to find six Grade 3+ musicians who play orchestral instruments.
The day consisted of intensive coaching on three quite demanding orchestral pieces (one of which was unseen to the girls). They coped remarkably well and even had some fun along the way. The concert was held in the stunning new Music School with the auditorium being pretty much full of parents.
Well done to the Hanford girls who took part and I know that there will be many more of them taking part in the Junior Satips Day at the end of April. A real musical success!
