We had a low-key mothers’ tennis tournament on Saturday as there was only a small number of players due to all sorts of interesting excuses! However, we did manage to find a winner of the Lee silver salver – Sarah Butt – and the wooden spoon this year was gracefully received by Jo Fordham. Next year, hopefully the numbers will be back up again.
I started this tournament when I first came to Hanford and it has always been such fun. Thank you so much to all who have taken part over the years and hope you have many more on the courts to come.
