The Ken Bailey, which was held at Bryanston School, was a very short race of 1¼ miles. As the run was short and there were quite a few girls, about 100, in the race, to separate us up they added the extra ¼ mile. It was a lovely day and we all enjoyed it a lot. Our best runner was Clancy Bogue who came 19th and we also had a few more runners in the top 30. We saw some of the old girls from Hanford and they seemed to be enjoying it too. Overall it was a fun outing and we were pleased with all of our results.
