Flora and Fauna Club

Mrs Rawlingson Plant and the girls have challenged themselves to cut their food miles and have been working hard in the Walled Garden in the afternoons.  They are planning to grow as much fruit and vegetables as they can so that the school kitchen can use them for lots of yummy school meals.

One of the biggest tasks this week has been to shift barrow loads of manure from the Stables to the Walled Garden, as well as weeding and planting onions, beans and garlic.  They have also started to repair the brick border edge and to plant a hedge.
